Bronx Special Natural Area Districts Update - Environmental Impact Statement

On September 13, 2019, the New York City Department of City Planning, on behalf of the City Planning Commission as lead agency, issued a PDF Document Notice of Completion for a Final Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS) the Bronx Special Natural Area District Update proposal.

A public hearing on the DEIS was held on Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at 10:00am in the City Planning Commission Hearing Room at 120 Broadway, Lower Concourse, New York, NY 10271, in conjunction with the City Planning Commission’s public hearing pursuant to ULURP. The public hearing also considered modifications to the Proposed Actions (ULURP No. N190430(A) ZRY). The public hearing on the DEIS and ULURP applications was continued on Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at 10:00am in the City Planning Commission Hearing Room. Written comments were requested on the DEIS and were accepted through Monday, September 9, 2019. The FEIS incorporates responses to the public comments received on the DEIS and additional analysis conducted subsequent to the completion of the DEIS.
