In July 2008 Executive Order 120 created a centralized language access policy for New York City. Executive Order 120 mandates that all City agencies that provide direct public services create a language access implementation plan to ensure meaningful language access to their services.
The Language Access Implementation Plan explains how the NYC Department of Probation will provide language access services to people who have limited English proficiency. It outlines our policies, procedures, and resources for ensuring meaningful access to our program and services.
NYC Department of Probation Language Access Implementation Plan has been last updated on June 27, 2024.
