District Needs Statement
The Statement of Community District Needs, prepared by the New York City's community boards, provide a context for development and assessment of budget priorities. Pursuant to Sections 230 and 231 of the City Charter, the Community Boards submit annual expense and capital budget priorities which must be considered by city agencies in the preparation of their departmental budget estimates.
