Learn more about the Taxicab Leasing Pilot
The TLC understands that the inflexible, “5-to-5” leases, currently offered by lessors do not meet driver needs and can lead to a drop in service during the evening rush hours, costing drivers an estimated 12,000 potential fares each weekday. By participating in the Taxicab Leasing Pilot, owners and agents can offer shifts to meet driver needs and preferences, such as, uninterrupted shifts during the high demand evening rush hours, shorter shifts, and low-risk leases. TLC will displaythe leasing models each participant offers on this webpage, providing participants a unique opportunity to reach interested drivers.
Participants may choose to offer the following leases:Standard Leases: lease agreements governed by TLC lease caps.
