Explore the beach as it becomes a vital foraging habitat for migrating sandpipers and other shorebirds making their way south. Hawk Watch
Fort Tilden, Queens, 10:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m.

Watch for birds of prey like osprey, peregrine falcon, bald eagles and more as they fly overhead during peak fall bird migration. Learn to ID them by silhouette and at rest. Insect Exploration

As the largest and most diverse group of animals on earth, insects have found ways to live in nearly every habitat.
