Our Renal Outpatient Service provides patient-focused care through the various stages of kidney disease, including dialysis preparation and ongoing treatment as needed. Our staff of renal specialists (nephrologists), dedicated nurses, certified dieticians, and social workers provide a full range of evaluations and treatment services.
Physicians participate throughout all stages of the disease, explaining the illness, dialysis treatment and modalities and potential complications. Nurses work closely with our patients to ensure they follow the specified treatment schedule plan and offer support along the way. Our social workers are also actively involved throughout the process, making sure patients are invited to support groups and provided psychological assistance as needed.
We ensure the information and tools necessary to best address kidney disease are readily available to our patients and their family members, including transplant information, if applicable.
