Updated Procedures for Presentation Requests/Letters of Support

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Community Board Four like many other City agencies has migrated all in-person meetings to virtual video/telephone conferences.  Please note the following changes for presentation request to the Board as well as changes to the Committee meeting schedule: 

Presentation Request/Letters of Support

Any individual, organization or City Agency who wants to make a formal presentation to Community Board Four should make that request no less than 30 days in advance of their suggested meeting date.  You must complete the Presentation Request Form on our website and return the form to bx04@cb.nyc.gov. In addition, you must make ALL presentation materials available no less than 10 days before the meeting date.  We are required to make materials available to the public and Board members.  Note that participants will have the option to call in to participate and therefore would not have access to video during the meeting. Consult the Community Board Four calendar for details.  

If you do not comply with these procedures, your item will NOT be entertained.  

Please note that unless indicated all presentations will be made to the appropriate committee: Housing & Land Use, Economic Development, Parks, Health & Human Services, Municipal Services and Youth & Education.  Also, all request for letters of support are channeled through committee but MUST be voted on by the full Board before the request can be granted.  The full Board meets the fourth Tuesday of the month.  You should factor in that timing when scheduling your presentation.
