About Community Boards

Community Boards afford the citizenry the opportunity to have their voices heard. This input is helpful in making decisions about how best to use city resources, including land and tax dollars. The community board is responsible for monitoring the services delivered to this community by other New York City agencies and for making recommendations for improvement in those services through the budget process and advocacy efforts.
