How To Get Involved

Please view the ways you can be involved with Brooklyn Community Board 9 below. 

• Become a non-board Resident Committee Member by submitting the Brooklyn Community Board 9 Resident Member Application Form. Placements typically take place during the Board's summer hiatus to stand up the committees for the upcoming session. 

• Join our email list. We send out a weekly email that consists of Board activities in addition to information from other government agencies, nonprofits, and other community-based organizations on housing, financial literacy, youth programming, employment opportunities, health, etc. 

• Attend any of our committee meetings that interest you. You can also attend our monthly general board meeting where the full board is in session. All of our meetings are open to the public.
