Clean Ups

Clean ups are events held for the purpose of neighborhood improvement. These events must be held by a nonprofit organization, or individual with local relationships within the proposed event location. If you are interested in holding a clean-up in your community, read below for more information and apply online.

When hosting a clean up, keep in mind the following:

  • Applications must be submitted 60 days prior to the event
  • Nonprofit applicants must provide nonprofit status documentation with the application
  • Applicants should have the block/tenant association’s approval before applying
  • Clean ups can be no more than 4 hours in duration and are limited to one block for one day
  • Rain dates are not permitted
  • No fundraising, or sale of goods or services can take place at the clean-up
