The Public Design Commission meets once a month. A typical meeting generally includes a Committee Meeting in the morning, followed by a Public Meeting with a batch vote on Consent Items and any Public Hearings.
Meetings are held in-person at the Public Design Commission Board Room on the third floor of City Hall, unless otherwise indicated. Meetings are also livestreamed on YouTube.
Public Design Commission meetings are held in an accessible space. The entrance to the building, the restrooms, and the meeting room are wheelchair accessible.

The meeting agendas are posted online three business days in advance of each meeting (see table below) and published in the City Record. Agendas are also distributed to all City Council members, Community Boards, and City agency liaisons.
Additionally, the Public Design Commission's meetings are recorded and the videos are posted online (see table below) within three days of the meeting date. The actions taken by the Commission at its public meetings are documented in minutes (certificates of approval) that are generally available within one week of the meeting date.
Members of the public who plan to attend meetings are encouraged to arrive at least 45 minutes in advance of the estimated time, as all times are approximate and subject to change.
