The New York City Department of Youth and Community Development (DYCD) supports reading, writing, GED, and English language classes for youth and adults.
Adolescent Literacy Program
An afterschool program run by community-based organizations in partnership with 10 middle schools in New York City. The program works with students in grades 6 through 8 to strengthen their reading, writing, and communication skills.
