Economic Development

The NYC Mayor's Office for International Affairs, in collaboration with the NYC Economic Development Corporation, works to ensure that that the City's economic growth is inclusive and good for all New Yorkers. We believe the economy of the future will be global, and it must be inclusive.

NYC has long been at the center of finance, food, fashion, and media, and in recent years, the City has also become a global hub for life sciences, urban manufacturing, and tech.

If businesses do not already have an office in NYC, they are missing out on the energy, talent, diversity, and cross-industry collaboration that are creating a wave of innovation greater than anywhere else in the world.

For international businesses considering expanding to New York City, we seek to make the process seamless. For more information about growing your business including services and programs by sector, please visit the NYC EDC website.
