New York City is one of the world's greatest movie sets, and the buildings and grounds of the New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA) offer a remarkable variety of choice exterior and interior locations for film, television, and still photography.
Over the years, NYCHA has provided locations for numerous independent and feature films, television productions such as "Blue Bloods", "Person of Interest", "The Americans", and other programs airing on major cable networks. The Authority invites motion picture and television production companies interested in shooting on our properties to scout our residential buildings, courtyards, playgrounds, and community centers. Many of our rooftops offer spectacular panoramas of the most recognizable city in the world!
Click on the link below for a listing and photos of those locations which have proved most popular over the last several years. There is also a link to our standard Letter Agreement, which sets forth the terms and conditions under which the production will take place.
If you are interested in using or scouting one of our properties, please contact us.
We look forward to working with you!
The photos below represent a small sample of views from NYCHA. With 328 developments across New York City's five boroughs, chances are that there's a NYCHA location that can fit your needs.
