The Mayor's Office of Operations provides all New Yorkers with an appraisal of how each aspect of their government is performing, from the delivery of basic day-to-day services to the most urgent emergency care; from citywide initiatives to neighborhood-based programs; from services that affect every New Yorker to those that help the most vulnerable among us.
The Performance Management Team monitors and reports on the performance of all City agencies, holding each agency accountable for providing high quality services. In addition to producing the City Charter-mandated twice-yearly Mayor's Management Report and managing the Dynamic Mayor's Management Report, it oversees the Citywide Performance Reporting tool, the Capital Projects Dashboard and the SCOUT and Scorecard programs. These and other projects are part of Operations' ongoing efforts to help the City identify issues, develop solutions, track our progress, hold ourselves accountable and better manage our performance.
