Youth Leadership Council
In 2021, the Office of Neighborhood Safety (ONS) and the Center for Court Innovation (CCI) convened the inaugural Youth Leadership Council (YLC), which is made up of approximately 50 young residents (aged 16-21) living in City public housing. YLC participants are encouraged to advocate for public safety in their own communities and to explore best practices to effectively address critical issues.
