The City of New York will build a memorial dedicated to New York City’s fallen service members of the Post-9/11 Generation. The memorial will be located on the waterfront in Whitestone, Queens and will honor the lives and legacy of those who died during combat activities in support of Overseas Contingency Operations associated with the Global War on Terror.
