Veterans Committee
The Veterans Committee is a Special Committee of the NYC Continuum of Care (CoC). Formed in 2013 in response to HUD’s focus on ending homelessness among veterans, the Veterans Committee joins coalition, government, nonprofit partners, and persons with lived experience of homelessness in the effort to decrease housing barriers, coordinate federal funding (e.g.: SSVF, etc.), develop innovative new programs, and increase the resources needed to make Veteran homelessness in New York City rare, brief, and non-recurring.
