Training Frequently Asked Questions

How long are trainings?

Trainings are intended to be tailored to the needs of the agency or work group. However, most of our basic trainings are between 3 hours (1/2 day) and full day programs. 

What are the costs of trainings?

Trainings are free for city agencies. At times, we co-train with outside consultants for requested specialized trainings. In those limited circumstances there would be a fee.  

Where are trainings held?

The Center has training space for small groups. For larger groups and to accommodate agency needs, we can also hold trainings at your agency space. We would work with you to find an appropriate private space for a comfortable training.

Do you offer tailored trainings?

Yes. Tailored trainings are our specialty. The Center has the capacity to customize trainings to meet the needs of agencies. We will work with you to assess the way conflict presents itself in your workplace, examine the conflict resolution capacity of your employees and ultimately collaborate on a training program that directly resonates with participants.
