The Center is committed to building conflict resolution capacity within New York City government. Through innovative and tailored trainings for all NYC employees, we focus on increasing awareness of conflict dynamics, teaching effective communication and listening skills and expanding on the use of collaborative interventions. With these proactive skills in place there is potential for a more engaged and efficient workforce.
Trainings feature a mix of learning styles, from lecture to large and small group work, to role play, self-reflection and feedback. In addition to the Training Programs listed, we offer tailored trainings to fit an agency's needs. Trainings can be administered as stand-alone workshops, sequential or advanced trainings or in a full day format.
