Reporting a Hate Crime

To report a hate crime or any emergency, call 911.

Non-emergencies should be reported to the local precinct.

You can call 888-NYC-SAFE if you notice any potentially dangerous activity on an MTA bus, subway or railroad

Individuals can also call 877-NO-HATE-NY to provide any tips relating to hate crimes.

Reporting Discrimination

To report any discrimination that violate the NYC Human Rights Law, you may also make a complaint with the City Commission on Human Rights.
