Economic Development

This Committee is concerned with the growth of the neighborhoods in Community Board 13. Here, members study plans for business growth, for plans in the amusement district, the mercantile strips, and the growth of job opportunities. The committee assists with the outreach to the residents and to the millions who arrive at the shore areas for fun, shopping, swimming, strolling, and enjoying the ever-expanding communal and business growth. Here, too, the members discuss a wide range of needs and existing facilities – restaurants, amusement rides, theaters, and proposals for the new elements to keep C.B. 13 strongly evolving into the 21st Century.
