Analyses of many C.B. 13 issues are discussed and evaluated in this Committee’s work. Surrounded by the waters of the Ocean, the Bay and the Creek, the safe way-of-life is discussed with guest speakers and civic leaders. How do we deal with the ecological challenges of the age? How do we protect our homes, our citizens from further weather uprisings? How do we deal with proposals involving air quality, sewage, aging infrastructure problems, and more? The millions who live, work, and visit the neighborhoods of C.B. 13, its beaches, restaurants, Boardwalk, parks, et al require a strong back-up Sanitation system, and the Committee is vigilant in determining the best ways to keep a healthy southern portion of Brooklyn.
