Community Solutions Program

Solving local issues in true partnership between the NYPD and the community is key to building trust and achieving safety and quality of life for all New Yorkers. The Community Solutions Program brings together local community organizations, city agencies, and the police. These strategy sessions identify top community issues and empowers community members to collaborate and determine how best to address the concerns they've identified. Examples include improving physical environment, connecting neighborhood residents to resources, and providing communities with appropriate police response.
