Hate Crime Task Force

Investigators with the NYPD Hate Crime Task Force (HCTF) are responsible for responding to hate crimes and incidents related to hate crimes across the five boroughs. The HCTF works with a local precinct's Community Affairs team, along with partners at the Office for the Prevention of Hate Crimes and the City's Commission on Human Rights, to provide victims of hate crimes with appropriate assistance and support.
