For-Hire Vehicle

In 2020 the New York City Taxi and Limousine Commission (TLC) created a For-Hire Vehicle (FHV) License Storage Program to give relief to vehicle license holders who could not afford to maintain their vehicles during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. Vehicle licenses placed into storage must be removed from storage on or before August 31st, 2023, regardless of when the license was placed into storage.

If your TLC vehicle license is registered under your personal name, click here.

Your vehicle license may have expired while in storage. You may be required to pay renewal fee(s) to remove your vehicle license from storage.
