CDL Licenses

By the date of your appointment, you MUST have a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B with the required endorsements and restriction.

  • Endorsements: N – Tanker and Air Brakes
  • Restrictions: No "K" - Intrastate

DSNY CDL Training Program

We offer a one-week CDL Training course. The cost is $1,200 and is payable through paycheck deductions. 

Before signing up for the course you MUST:

  • Obtain a CDL Class B permit 
  • Have a valid New York State Driver's License
